FAQ

What does WHIP stand for?

The name of the meetup is an acronym and stands in its full form for "Welcome Home Innocent Pervs".

Who is the meetup aimed at? Is there an age limit?

This question is answered in our Concept.

Can I find a partner with you?

We place a very strong focus on creating a Safer Space for all attendees. By this, we understand a place where people can exchange ideas and socialize without having to fear that it becomes too intense or uncomfortable. Our community is not a matchmaking service or partner exchange.

I am a bit older, what can I do?

In Leipzig, we have the lovely people from SMiLE (SM in Leipzig), who also organize regular meetups.

What are your rules?

We have no rules, but we have given ourselves Principles.

What kind of meetings does WHIP have?

Currently, there is the WHIP meetup, where we gather in a cozy circle without playing and the Play-WHIP, where we can also play in a closed society.

How often does the meetup take place?

Each of our meetings currently takes place at least once a month.

Can I come if I've never been to a meetup before?

Of course! There is always a round for new people that takes place 30 minutes before the official start. During this time, the organizers explain the meetup, the Principles and some general information. This allows you to get to know the organizers and discuss open questions beforehand. It also gives you the opportunity to arrive not directly into an existing large group. We hope this makes arriving at our events easier for you.

Is "Playing" allowed?

WHIP meetup

At our regular meetup, playing, i.e., the practice of BDSM, should be avoided. We have the venue to ourselves here, but the focus is on exchange. This allows for a low-threshold and simple entry for new people.

Play-WHIP

Here we also have the venue entirely to ourselves, additionally playing is allowed but not mandatory. You should be considerate of the fact that people around you might be playing. However, there is no expectation or even obligation that the people present will play at all – our principles remain the top priority. The only hope is that we have a wonderful time together.

If you play, please pay attention to your surroundings and let's see together what is acceptable for the venue. The limit of the venue so far is that non-sexual play remains non-sexual, so genitals must remain covered.

Important!

The Play-WHIP venue is video-monitored for safety reasons during our events. The recordings are automatically deleted after 48 hours and serve solely to protect the bar staff in case of any incidents.

How do I reach the organizers? How can I contact you?

The best way is via email at kontakt@whip-leipzig.de or via our Telegram group.

Note:

The invitation link is for the "Lounge" and not yet the main group - so we avoid bots in our main group. The organizers will then manually move you to the main group after a bot check. Please feel free to write how you found us or anything else you like - bots usually write nothing or about ominous job offers. 😁

Therefore, please note that we assume an account that joined is a bot if there is no reaction to our welcome message. In this case, we will remove the account from the channel for now.

Is there food/drinks on site?

There are drinks at the venue at a price range that is self-determined within a specified range, depending on your own means. Food can be brought in; directly opposite, there is the option to get Kebab and pizza (also vegan).

How should I dress?

WHIP meetup

Wear the outfit in which you feel most comfortable.

Play-WHIP

Come in the outfits in which you feel comfortable, or if you like, dress comfortably/chic/sexy on site if you wish. You have the choice.

I'm not brave enough (to come alone), what can I do?

That's totally okay! If you like, you can ask a friend to accompany you. This makes the first step easier.

Does a visit cost anything?

No, the visit does not cost anything. However, it would be nice if the venues we are allowed to use get a little something. If you can therefore order a few drinks during the evening, that would be great.
Of course, it's also okay if that doesn't fit your budget right now.

Are photos/videos allowed?

In the spirit of the Safer Space, it is forbidden to take photos or videos of other people.

Is smoking allowed in the venue?

Smoking is not allowed inside the venue, but people who are smoking are sometimes seen outside.
